TEHRAN —
Iranian Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is reportedly seeking political asylum in New York City amid growing civil unrest in Iran.
“I had a very productive phone call with Mr. Mamdani,” the Iranian dictator said from his secure office. “We are exploring ways I could become a part of his administration, which is very thoughtful.” “Additionally,” the supreme leader added, “he indicated I could get a luxury apartment, government ID for voting and easy cash upon arrival.”
“We are two peas in a pod,” said the Mayor-elect, “I can’t think of an immigrant more entitled to be hear than the beloved Ayatollah.”
